I am a list maker. I admit it freely. I enjoy making lists and marking items off my lists as they are accomplished. So, not surprisingly, I have made a list of things to do, get, or get done before Baby Boy arrives in March. One of those things was to get a rug for the living room so that Hannah has a comfortable place to play on the floor in that room. On Monday I found the rug & I'm loving it. It is even growing on me more everyday. Here it is. Hannah loves it too and has wanted to play on it constantly - - - success!

Then on Tuesday and Wednesday I was having/recovering from an allergy cold - yuck.
That brings us to Thursday where the list met creative day. Another thing on my list was to get Hannah's 2-year-old handprints in paint. While I was getting the supplies ready, she warmed up by doing some "paint with water" pictures. Look at that concentration. And a nice tripod grip if I do say so.

Then here we have a set of handprints. Not bad for a first try... We may do more over the weekend.

She had fun picking which colors to use and seemed to enjoy getting her hands in the paint. I also wanted to get some "free form" art, but she was getting tired and still needed a bath before naptime, so we ended with this one.

We finished up the evening with some coloring and crayon sculpture.
