Another Milestone

The BIG GIRL BED

Since I am 7 1/2 months pregnant now, and Hannah weighs about 30 pounds, it's getting a little bit difficult (painful & awkward) for me to get her in and out of her crib a couple of times every day. So - on Saturday we went shopping for a twin bed for Hannah. (I can't believe she's so big and grown up!) She had lots of fun jumping on mattresses at the encouragement of her Daddy. :) Her most common phrases that day were "too big" and "way too big" - her assessment of the beds. I didn't know if we were going to find anything we liked since it was our first time to look, but we did! We brought home a big girl bed for Hannah and set it up in her room with her new bedding. And She Loves It! I didn't know if she would want to sleep in it or if she just thought it was her new trampoline, but she ended up sleeping in it all night with no problems! Such a big girl.

Notice in the above photo that all the stuffed animals and babies are set up so they can watch her play on the new bed. The girl loves an audience. :)

Sunday night we put it up on a short bed frame, so it's a little bit taller now. She can get in it by herself by using her step stool, and then she just wiggles off the edge to get down. Yet another useful side to having long legs!
