Swinging with Mr. Grabbyhands

We've started swinging Nathan again.  We had to wait out all the sicknesses, but now he's well again - finally!  But in the meantime, he has forgotten that he loves to swing, and has also developed an awareness that some things are scary.  In just the past few weeks he has had some fear reactions - mostly stemming from us picking him up too quickly or other situations where he doesn't feel secure.  Maybe some gravitational insecurity.  Anyway, I'm just proud of the new awareness he has!  I've been starting out slowly with the swinging, holding his hands, leaning in and speaking quietly to him until he calms down, and then he seems to really enjoy it!

Watch Nathan's eyes and hand in the next 3 pictures.
He's got an idea.

And he went for it.
Success!
He got brother's hair!

Very pleased with himself.
By the time we went inside, he was laughing and having a great time in the swing.
We plan to do a lot more of this!
