So sorry, I realize I never updated after Nathan's last neurology appointment at the end of May. Here it is in bullet form.
*Last November we had a lot of out of country friends in town for Jayne's wedding
*We asked our African pastor friend, Stephen, to pray for Nathan that his seizures would stop - he did
*Nathan's seizures faded out into nothing over the next week!
*He still has not had a seizure that we know of!
*Now we are at 8 months with NO SEIZURES
*Nathan's neurologist never got the message that I left for him telling him that Nathan was not having any seizures as far as we knew (his nurse changed a couple of times & I assume the message got lost in the shuffle)
*When we saw Dr. M at the end of May he was SHOCKED, FLOORED, SPEECHLESS
*Up until our friend/friends prayed, Nathan's seizures had been getting steadily worse and we were bracing for a new diagnosis, and I think Dr. M had been too
*So, he started decreasing Nathan's seizure meds very slowly
*The only differences I've seen are good ones like: my son is not so sedated, he is happier, more expressive, much more alert and inquisitive, he is making lots of new sounds, he fusses and cries now to express himself, smiles so much more, laughs, has better eye contact, is understanding some words, and has made major gains in learning to walk. !!!!!
*I know that God does not always intervene the way we would like, but when he does it is miraculous

Love this picture of Nathan and reading the good news even though I already knew it. It's great to see it in writing. Love the birthday pics also.
