Nathan Update

Babies don't like EEG's. Even by his third one, which was today, Nathan still really really does not like EEG's. Actually it's not the actual EEG that's the problem, it's all the set up for it. They use a lot of pressure to clean off about 25 different spots all over his scalp, put some sort of cream on all 25 spots, put electrodes on all 25 spots, tape down all 25 spots, they wrap his whole head in an ace bandage so he won't pull or rub off any of the electrodes. By the time the prep work is done he has been screaming for a while and has red puffy eyes. No fun. Oh, and I get to help hold him down during the whole process.

During the test I get to hold him and he is always so worn out that he goes to sleep pretty quickly. Today his brain wave activity looked a little better/calmer, but it is still not normal. But we already knew that since he's still having seizures.

So now... Another medication change and more waiting.

And now you know what I know!

That sounds like a really rough thing to go through. Still praying.
