Zoo, Part 2

The Meerkat

Note: I don't know why there is such crazy spacing on this post - I can't get it to look normal!

Graham spent most of the day napping in the stroller or being held. Since he didn't get a really good nap (sleeping really soundly for very long) he slept great that night - about six hours straight at one point!!! My Mom suggested we take him to the zoo more often. :) Might not be a bad idea.

They have really fixed up the zoo since I was there last - maybe 7 or 8 years ago. I enjoyed the various waterfalls, etc. Jeff thought it was funny that I was taking pictures of the scenery.





Here Hannah is holding onto her hat. She did this for some time at the beginning of our zoo tour. Not quite sure if it was for security or if she thought she was going to lose the hat.










Grandma with 3 hot and tired kids. They were in the parakeet pen trying to feed the birds. I think the birds had been fed all day long because they wanted nothing to do with the food.

We'll have to go back in the fall or spring when the temperature is a little more bearable, but what a great day!
